London, Ontario — April 22, 2026 — London International Airport (YXU) today announced its Summer 2026 flight schedule, highlighted by enhanced connectivity and increased frequency through key airline partners, including significant service boosts from Air Canada and WestJet.
As part of the summer schedule, Air Canada will operate five daily flights between London and Toronto, all serviced by jet aircraft. This all-jet service, operated on Embraer 175 aircraft, offers passengers greater comfort and reliability, along with a Business-Class cabin. It also enables seamless connections through Toronto Pearson to destinations across Air Canada’s extensive global network.
“We’re pleased to see Air Canada expanding its presence in London with frequent, all-jet service to Toronto,” said Scott McFadzean, CEO London International Airport. “These additional flights strengthen our connectivity, help improve reliability and make it easier than ever for travelers in Southwestern Ontario to reach destinations across Canada and around the world.”
WestJet is also expanding its footprint at YXU, offering more Calgary service than ever before with up to three daily flights between London and Calgary. This increase supports strong demand for western Canada travel and provides enhanced access to WestJet’s growing network.
In addition, WestJet will introduce new three-times-weekly service to Winnipeg, further broadening travel options for passengers and strengthening domestic connectivity.
“The expanded service from WestJet reflects continued confidence in the London market,” added McFadzean. “With increased flights to Calgary and new service to Winnipeg, Westjet is providing more choice and flexibility than ever before from YXU.”
Key highlights of the Summer 2026 schedule include:
- Five daily Air Canada flights to Toronto operated with jet aircraft
- Up to three daily WestJet flights to Calgary — the highest frequency ever offered from YXU
- New WestJet service to Winnipeg operating three times weekly
- Improved access to national and global destinations through major hub connections
