LONDON, ON – WestJet is set to bring more travel options to London International Airport (YXU) next year, with the return of seasonal service to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Beginning May 17, 2026, through September 13, 2026, WestJet will operate three times weekly between London and Winnipeg on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

“Winnipeg was the first destination that WestJet served out of London,” said Scott McFadzean, President and CEO of London International Airport. “It’s great to see these popular flights return and offer more convenient travel options for our region.”

“Through the introduction of non-stop service between London and Winnipeg, WestJet is bringing even more friendly, affordable, and reliable service to beautiful Southwest Ontario. This new route strengthens connections across central Canada, making it easier for families to reunite, communities to grow closer, and local economies to thrive,” said Mike Perkins, Senior Airport Affairs Manager, WestJet.

“We know Londoners are eager for more destinations and we hear you,” said Gerry Vanderhoek, Director of Commercial and Air Services. “We’re working closely with the airlines to make that happen. The return of Winnipeg flights is a great step forward. ‘Start here, go anywhere’ is more than a tagline; it reflects our commitment to connecting London to the world.”
